Ol Tome
The directors
of Ol Tome have recently signed a ten year lease for the exclusive use
of the Elerai Conservancy with access to Ol Gulilui Group Ranch adjoining
the Amboseli National Park. Echoing a bygone age of style, comfort and
informality, Ol Tome is to be constructed using a mixture of natural
stone walls, with classical cut stone arch surrounds and tapered hardwood
pillars supporting roofs of traditional twisted reed thatch. Inspiration
behind the furnishing has been drawn from the natural heritage of East
Africa, the rich colours of the Indian sub continent and the light of
the Mediterranean.
Spa
One of the most intriguing elements of life in Africa revolves around
its capacity for extremes; scenes of such peace replaced so abruptly
by primeval action; the strain of exertion followed by such utter repose.
The lives of the wild game are extreme indeed. Now at Ol Tome our guests
can share in these extremes. Whether you choose to exert yourself in
scaling Mount Kilimanjaro, or taking a long camel trek, the spa at Ol
Tome will envelope you on your return. Rejuvenating massages, a hot
tub and complete serenity will revive the spirit in the most relaxing
of environments, whilst refreshing, naturally blended oils and cleansers
will revitalize you after your adventure. The Spa provides a perfect
location to recuperate and reflect on all that you have experienced.
